"Batman : Everybody Lies" is a cooperative crime-solving deduction board game where players work as part of a secret task force for Commissioner Gordon to investigate cases in Gotham City.
 
Players do not play as Batman, but rather as key characters in his universe: Vicki Vale, Harvey Bullock, Catwoman (Selina Kyle), and Warren Spacey. Each character has unique abilities and a personal, often secret, agenda.
 
The main goal is to collaboratively solve one of four available mysteries (a prologue case and three main cases) by gathering clues and evidence.
