Hero Realms is a popular fantasy-themed deck-building game where players aim to reduce their opponents' health to zero through card combat. It is an adaptation of the award-winning Star Realms game and is available as a physical card game and a digital app. 
 
In a typical game, players start with a personal ten-card deck consisting of gold (for buying new cards) and weapons (for combat). The core game supports 2 to 4 players, with expansions allowing up to 5. 
 
Market Row: A shared, 80-card Market deck is used, with five cards revealed to form the Market Row. Players use gold to buy cards from this row to add to their personal deck's discard pile.
 
Deck Building: As you play, your deck becomes more powerful with new action cards, items, and champion cards that generate more gold, combat, healing, or other effects. When your deck runs out, you shuffle your discard pile to create a new, more powerful deck.
 
Combat: Combat points are used to attack opponents or their champions. Players start with 50 health, and the last one standing wins.
 
Factions and Abilities: Cards belong to one of four factions (Guild, Necros, Imperial, Wild), and playing multiple cards of the same faction in a turn can activate powerful ally abilities.
 
Champions: These cards stay in play until stunned and some have a "guard" ability, which must be defeated before the player or their non-guard champions can be attacked.
